Snoqualmie River Near Carnation affecting King County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and near moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Snoqualmie River near Carnation. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 56.0 feet, the Snoqualmie River will cause widespread flooding from Fall City downstream through Carnation and Duvall... inundating much of the farm land and numerous roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 PM PDT Thursday the stage was 56.3 feet. - Flood stage is 54.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:15 PM PDT Thursday was 56.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain near moderate flood stage through early Saturday morning before falling below flood stage early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 49.3 feet Sunday afternoon. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
